Autumn 2006 Soccer Camp (24 to 26 October inclusive)
The Ball School’s Autumn Soccer Camp 2006 was a fabulous event and attended by 60 boys and girls from 6 to 13 years of age.
The grounds man had worked very hard on the pitches and the playing surface was as good as anywhere in the area, encouraging a high level of skill to
accompany the huge amounts of enthusiasm shown by everyone who attended.
With The Ball School keen to encourage health, fitness and well being to its youngsters each day concluded with parents signing their children out and each
child collecting a bottle of water, to top up their fluid levels, and a healthy snack to replace the energy burnt during the day.
The snacks were home made by Cookies Kitchen, with advise of a nutritionist, and contained fresh and natural products. Needless to say the snacks
were a winner with everyone, including the coaches!
Each day consisted of a warm up schedule, skills, drills and practise sessions along with small sided games. The final day saw the presentation of a medal
to everyone who attended and prizes for the Penalty King and Super Skill’s winners.
Our congratulation go to those winners – Robbie, Tom, Daniel, Charlie, Agnes, Thomas, Jake and Beth.
Keep up the good work and 2007 promises to be another great year for Soccer Camps.
