Great Events - The Summer Soccer Camps 2006
The Ball School was back at Skinners School Playing Fields, Chestnut Avenue, Tunbridge Wells, Kent and the place was
buzzing with football mad youngsters for both three day courses staged during August 2006.
Both courses were well attended by boys and girls of 6 to 13 years of age, split into appropriate groups for warm ups, drills, practises,
competitions, games and plenty of fun and laughter.
With Gary Stevens, the former Spurs and England International in attendance from 10am to 3pm each day, a professional feel to the whole event was evident.

Gary had prepared the course schedule and time table to allow for group rotation and every player spent an equal amount of time with Gary and his selected coaches.
Gary commented:
“My coaches were in great form and all the youngsters applied themselves really well to the skill and drills which certainly improved their football in the small sided games that concluded each day.
It was great to see so many youngsters enjoying themselves, laughing and learning more about the great game of football at the same time.
The drink breaks and lunch time gave everyone a well earned rest and the chance to chat and interact with, in many cases, new friends.
The penalty prize and super skills comps were keenly contested and I can’t wait for the next event staged by The Ball School”.
Both courses concluded with happy smiling faces, no injuries and plenty of Mums and Dads at the presentation of awards. The skills demonstration in
front of so many people was well received and certainly put the youngsters very much centre stage.
